Philadelphia is recognized as one of the best cities for street art in the world.
In this one-of-a-kind original painting, I aim to capture the city's unique outdoor art scene and fuse it with its cinematic hero, Rocky. In this piece, Rocky's iconic training montage has culminated to the top of the monumental steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Rocky leaps in celebration, as he knows he is ready to take on the champ.
In order to achieve the authentic vibrancy and energy that street art is renowned for, I mixed a broad range of materials and tools, including graffiti paint pens, classic acrylic brush techniques, watercolor palettes and graphite.
This painting is currently on display at the Sly Stallone Shop in Philadelphia.
